Our Wines
At Sugar Bar we love our wine. That is why our wine list is carefully written
to bring you the best and most affordable for each season. We select our wines
from a variety of different suppliers and producers, thus giving you, our customer,
a greater range of choice. You will not find the majority of our wines in grocery
stores or even off-licence premises; this is because we encourage each other to
try something new and to find new favourites.
Because we believe in trying new things we offer our customer’s 50% off any bottle of wine
on our list on Tuesday nights. All you have to do is order one of our gourmet pizzas
or platters and the bottle is yours… half price!
We have over 40 wines by the glass. Each one is preserved with an Argon preservation system.
This is the same process that many wine makers use. It allows us to open wine and serve it
by the glass without compromising it’s quality.
We also use Riedel stemware. We use Riedel because we believe that good wine deserves good stemware.
We decant all of our wine allowing it to breath before serving it to you in a glass
specifically designed to enhance the wine you are drinking.
